Excavations at Mes Aynak ("Copper Well"), Afghanistan, a massive Buddhist temple complex in danger of demolition due to US war, Afghan desperation, and Chinese greed (Science, Vol. 329, 7-30-10/Irtiqa).
To outrage the world and create a pretext for war, the CIA-created Taliban demolished some of the world's largest Buddha statues at Bamiyan, 125 miles to the northwest. The age of those statues is hard to pinpoint because long before they were converted to Buddhist images, monastic caves, and a rich cultural crossroads along the Silk Route, they were monolithic giants depicting humankind devolving slowly through the epochs, according to Russian psychic and Theosophist Madame Blavatsky.
A precious metal and rare earth mine 25 miles southeast of Kabul, the current Afghan capital, was an enormous Buddhist temple complex 2,600 years ago. Why? The Buddha was born in the ancient region (now called Logar Province), which was once India's northwest frontier. Temples were often built near mines to draw raw materials for the ornate temple structures.

That fabulous 1,000 hectare complex -- with various monasteries, nunneries, and other buildings -- is very ancient and is apparently set atop two older layers of a town. But Chinese government corporate interests are doing their best to make sure the world never sees most of what constitutes this archeological site. They seek to demolish it and extract its mineral wealth. Millennia ago, this region served as a critical conduit in the spread of Buddhism to Central Asia [up to Europe and the only indigenously Buddhist portion of Europe, Kalmykia] and China [Buddhism flourished in ancient Greece before it got to China], says T. Richard Blurton, an archaeologist and curator at London's British Museum who has excavated in Afghanistan.
The barren site hiding cultural wonders
Blurton says Mes Aynak could provide new data on both the origin and demise of the religion here. Researchers now believe that as late as the 7th century C.E., when Islam arrived in the area, Buddhism was still making inroads as far west as Iran and as far north as Turkmenistan. "It's quite tantalizing to consider how Buddhism coexisted with the new religion."
There are also Hindu deities from that late period at Tepe Sardar, a large monastery located in the eastern Afghan city of Ghazni. Further evidence from Mes Aynak could help provide a new picture of religious blending at an important historical juncture, explains Blurton. There is some hope for compromise and coexistence -- by creating a protected zone for archeology. But it looks like the decision is now directly in the hands of US-installed Afghan leader Karzai. Bridget Nielsen is a healer in Santa Monica, artist, mother on many dimensions, and a longtime alien abductee used to produce hybrid human-alien children. Abductees are hypnotized and brainwashed to repress any memory of such events, but Nielsen has managed to remember and realize what continues to happen to her as her body is used in this increasingly common practice. There are now millions of such children, and there likely have always been. American archeologist Michael Cremo has uncovered physical evidence of "modern Homo sapiens" existing on Earth millions of years ago, which should be impossible. But we are a seeded species not an entirely naturally-evolved one. Of course, our "science," such as it is with all its politics and other unscientific interference, does not allow us to so much as contemplate the possibility. There are filters in place, in the university and the mainstream press, to tell us what to think and what to mock out of hand.
To dispel the fear surrounding aliens and abductions, we must investigate rather than hide, deny, and die a quiet death in ignorance. What do they look like these extraterrestrials -- angels of light, Greys, Nordic devas, little green men, Taylor Swift/KATY PERRY, Bigfoots, reptoids, humanoids...all of the above?
Contemplating hybridization would be moving too fast: You mean there really are extraterrestrials, space aliens? Yes. You mean they really visit? Yes. You're saying we might be the same species? It would seem so since even pre-biblical accounts tell of such interplanetary mating. The Jewish and Christian Bibles tell bastardized accounts of rape or seduction from above as the "sons of God" (devaputras) descened, beheld human women, and found them, well, easy (prey). Earth girls are easy -- everyone knows that, and all the "easier" when hypnotized.
The virgin birth is what? A tale of consensual sex with otherworldly beings (angels, gandharvas, messenger-devas) or gods (brahmas)? Mother Mary, an iteration of the divine feminine or European figure of the Mother Goddess, was asked permission to bear the star child Western culture claims to revere above all (Jesus, Issa, Christ)? All of this is too much to bear. We much prefer a self-satisfied science telling us what to believe, what is possible, and what is utterly beyond the pail. Of course, that keeps changing. So when disclosure comes, we'll all say, "We knew all along; we just didn't want to sound 'crazy' like Nielsen" as she's Punk'd on "world-famous" Los Angeles radio by KROQ's corporate-owned morning zoo (Aug. 31, 2012). Many of the precious [pre-Islamic Buddhist] objects were looted during Afghanistan's civil war.
Hundreds of archaeological artifacts looted from Afghanistan have been handed over to the country's national museum during a ceremony in the Afghan capital, Kabul. Many of the 843 pieces were stolen during Afghanistan's civil war in the 1990s and ended up on the black market.
Some of the items, which include stone statues of Buddha [who was born near the ancient Indian frontier in an area known as Gandhara conjectured to be in the vicinity of modern-day Bamiyan, Afghanistan] and intricate ivory carvings, are up to 4,000 years old.
The British Museum in London has helped to complete their return. Some of the stolen artifacts were recovered by British border forces and police, while others were found in private collections and bought back by generous donors.
One stone Buddha, thought to be around 1,800 years old, was stolen from the museum in Kabul and recovered in Japan. The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) flew the pieces back to Afghanistan in large crates, landing at their military base in Camp Bastion. More

ISLAMABAD - Pakistani police seized a large number of ancient Buddhist sculptures smugglers were attempting to spirit out of the country and sell for millions of dollars on the international antiquities market, officials said Saturday.
The stash included many sculptures of Buddha and other related religious figures that experts say could be over 2,000 years old. The items were likely illegally excavated from archaeological sites in Pakistan's northwest, said Salimul Haq, a director at the government's archaeology department.
The northwest was once part of Gandhara, an ancient Buddhist kingdom that stretched across modern-day Pakistan and Afghanistan and reached its height from the first to the fifth century.
Police seized the items Friday from a 20-foot (6-meter) container in the southern port city of Karachi that was being trucked north toward the capital, Islamabad.
ACAMBARO, Mexico - In 1944 a German man, Waldemar Julsrud, was hiking when he found an ancient figure. Hundreds more figurines were found by laborer Odilon Tinajero, who was sent out to search the area -- eventually 30,000 pieces in all.
Aside from similarities to known Mesoamerican styles, such as that of the Chupicuaro Indians, there were figurines that could not be placed in any culture or time:
Mesozoic-era pterodactyls and other dinosaurs (before particular species, such as Brontosaurus and Tyrannosaurus rex, were publicly displayed in museums and widely known), chimeras, an alien Grey (at Minute 0:42), Sumerians, ancient Egyptians, bearded Caucasians, seahorses, turtles, anteaters, llamas, camels, complex architectural structures, strange social scenes such as a man playing with a giant monkey, women flirting with reptiles [nagas making hybrids], and animals with six arms.
Moreover, many figures had Egyptian, east Indian, or African features. Mesozoic-era creatures were interacting with humans (just as archeologist Michael Cremo asserts). There were giants. Bipedal apes or a six-fingered creature that appears to be a Bigfoot are also depicted. Predictably, The Smithsonian squelched the entire find. More
Creationism?
Because scientists dissemble, make mistakes, and are often wrong does not mean turning to "infallible" faith is any kind of solution. The Smithsonian and its scientists certainly are not candid about all their finds. The best things are hidden.
What does not fit in with current theory is hidden away and denied -- such as skeletal giants. This does not make the world 6,000 years old or Biblical accounts any more accurate than a biased historical text (in parts). Certainly the world's sacred texts, upon which the Bible is based (Sumerian, Babylonian, Egyptian, etc.), have something important to say that biased "scientists" scoff at or are financially induced to dismiss and discredit.
Better sources than the Christian Bible exist for understanding the world as it actually is -- not as we feel comfortable in imagining it. The Vedas are a priceless source of information. Sumerian tablets, indigenous aboriginal and Indian lore, and other archeological finds are precious. Evolutionary is certainly mistaken, in spite of being empirical and dependable in certain respects; creationism is preposterous in some respects and yet correct in other, as much as it pains intelligent and educated modern people to imagine it.
The professional skeptics are wrong. The professional clergy are misleading. Take from both, leave the rest, keep an open mind, and remember we are responsible for our education, knowledge, and wisdom not others. If these things utterly depended on others, we would be doomed worse than the Kalamas in the Kalama Sutra.
Here are two impossible-but-true things for science buffs and religious fundamentalist to scoff at. "Modern" Homo sapien sapiens existed millions of years ago, and somewhere within this planet dinosaur forms exist now. Looking into Michael Cremo and Admiral Richard Byrd's work is a start.

In 1944 an accidental discovery of an even more controversial nature was made by Waldemar Julsrud at Acambaro, Mexico.
Acambaro is in the state of Guanajuato, 175 miles northwest of Mexico City. The strange archaeological site there yielded over 33,500 objects of ceramic, stone, including jade, and knives made of obsidian (which is sharper than steel and still used today in heart surgery).
Jalsrud, a prominent local German merchant, also found statues ranging from less than an inch to six feet in length depicting great reptiles [nagas], some of them in active association with humans -- generally eating them. In some bizarre statuettes an erotic association was indicated. To observers many of these creatures resembled dinosaurs.
Jalsrud crammed this collection into 12 rooms of his expanded house. Startling representations of Africans, Asians, and bearded Caucasians were included as were motifs of Egyptians, Sumerians, and other ancient non-hemispheric civilizations.
There were also portrayals of Bigfoot and aquatic monster-like creatures, weird human-animal mixtures (chimeras), and a host of other inexplicable creations.
Teeth from an extinct Ice Age horse, the skeleton of a mammoth, and a number of [giant] human skulls were found at the same site as the ceramic artifacts.*
Acambaro, Mexico: ancient evidence of dinosaurs and humans co-existing

Controversy erupted over the Acambaro find. The Smithsonian [part of a conspiracy of silence that stores away giant statues from public view] dismissed the entire collection as an elaborate hoax. Other scientists charged that the Smithsonian Institute and other archaeological authorities conducted a campaign of disinformation against the discoveries.
It was discovered that the Smithsonian's case files for Julsrud and the Acambaro artifacts were missing. Charles Hapgood, a professor of history and anthropology at the University of New Hampshire, made two expeditions to the site and became convinced the site was authentic. He witnessed some of the figures being excavated.
The authenticity of Julsrud find was challenged because the huge collection included dinosaurs.
Many archeologists believe dinosaurs have been extinct for the past 65 million years and human knowledge of them has been limited to the past 200 years. If this is true, humans could not possibly have seen and modeled them 2,500 years ago. [Dinosaurs may still exist today, as sited by US Nay Rear-Admiral Byrd and described in the Hollow Earth Theory.]
The finds in this small Mexican town are among the most astounding ever. Although the first figurines were found in 1945, many of the figurines were prophetic in nature in that:
They displayed dinosaurs that were not yet found and identified by paleontologists but are now known to have existed.
They displayed features such as dermal spines, not known to be found on such dinosaurs at that time but now (as of 1992) understood to be a feature of many dinosaurs formerly pictured as smooth-backed.
Dating methods within 4,000 years or so have been proven to be worthwhile for demonstrating an age range for an object. The Acambaro figurines consistently test as being 1,500-4,500 years old when tested by impartial testing agents, although they often withdraw their findings when they realize the implications of the results.
The Radiocarbon 14 method of dating was still in its infancy, but Hapgood acquired specimens for C14 testing. Gardner and Andrew Young (inventor of the Bell Helicopter) financed the testing. Samples were submitted to the Laboratory of Isotopes Inc. in New Jersey. The results were as follows: Sample No. 1 (I-3842) 3590 + - 100 (C.1640 BC) Sample No. 2 (I-4015) 6480 + - 170 (C. 4530 BC) Sample No. 3 (I-4031)3060 + - 120 (C. 1110 BC). The radiocarbon dates of up to 4,500 B.C. for Carbon on the ceramics would make the collection the oldest in the Western Hemisphere.
Even skeptics admit that the Acambaro collection is a powerful case for coexistence of dinosaur and humans.
But part of the story of Acambaro is the laboratory results that consistently reveal ages of more than 2,000 years for these figurines -- until the technicians realize the implications of their findings. They then fall over themselves trying to reverse themselves.
In the case of Acambaro, however, no reasonable macroevolutionist has come up with an reasonable rebuttal or explanation as to how ancient peoples could have molded dinosaur statues with more accuracy than the scientists of the time they were discovered.
No reasonable explanation has been given by macroevolutionists for the hundreds of drawings, carvings, and figurines of dinosaurs done by people long before paleontologists began finding dinosaur fossils and providing depictions of what their appearance might have been.
No good explanation has been given for the multitudes of stories about dinosaurs, not just as stories but as historical narratives in records kept by government and other officials. The record of human history, both written and described graphically in the form of paintings, drawings, carvings, and figurines is that of human coexistence with dinosaurs for hundreds of years.
Mummified giant -- a 9-foot, red-haired female mummy from China
About 20 years ago in northern China, a university's archaeological dig stumbled upon the burial grounds of 22 strange, gigantic men. Each giant had once stood nearly 12-feet tall. And each was garbed in strange leather armor. Around their dessicated skulls hung long strands of red hair.
During Afghanistan's civil war in the 1990s, the National Museum outside [the capital] Kabul was literally on the front line, repeatedly attacked by rocket fire and looted by [CIA-inspired] warlords.
Then, during the reign of the fundamentalist [CIA-created] Taliban regime, all non-Islamic statues and tombs were ordered destroyed. This led to the loss of two-thirds of the hundred thousand items in the Kabul museum.

The Taliban was forced from Kabul after the U.S. military [illegally invaded in a preemptively strike and] intervention in Afghanistan in late 2001. Before then, the Taliban's culture minister supervised the destruction of many of the remaining exhibits at the museum.

Although virtually unknown to the world public, Afghanistan's cultural heritage is one of the world's richest. Afghanistan was for a long time a cultural crossroads. The lost treasure represents a Silk Road melting pot of precious objects from China, India, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and ancient Afghanistan.
Perhaps the most important of the lost treasures were the famed Bactrian gold pieces, great icons of Afghanistan's cultural heritage.
