What do we mean by heaven? (By : Ajahn brahm)

Heaven What do we mean by heaven? Heaven can be regarded as the place where we can be born after we die later. It can also be a state of mind. For example, a person could be grumpy continuously in a bad mood and easily run amok. This person will lead the people around him, including himself, suffering and sad all the time. On the other hand, take an example, a person with character quiet, with a serene mind and always at peace with himself and others. Caused by the mind, lives a grumpy person would look like hell for himself and those around him. Needless to say, the even-tempered, and the people around him will enjoy a happy life, just like heaven. Buddhism allows us to enjoy Heaven on Earth by showing us how reaching a happy state of mind.
