Mayan Calendar: Official Countdown (clock)

Xochitl, Amber Dorrian, Seven, Wisdom Quarterly; Mayan elder Ac Tah, Tony Camacho (The Gateway) with translator Angelica Sepulveda (Whole Person) COUNTDOWN CLOCK: -16
The real Mayan Calendar, as distinct from the Aztec version it is so often confused with, is much more sophisticated than the 12-page paper book we use. Translation above.

Shift happens. It's about to hit the fan. The ancient Maya were told something as were the various American empires that came before. They created monolithic stone art in the jungle exactly like the Buddhist worlds of Angkor, Cambodia and Borobudur, Indonesia.

How are they connected? Beings from space, akasa devas, gave them technology, ruled them, and influenced their art. The faces and figures they were carving in stone were not their own.

Bhutanese Himalayan stupa
The pyramids they erected echo pyramids all over the planet and nearby planets. In Buddhist lands these were great curvilinear (circle square, globe box) reliquaries (stupas, chortens, or pagodas) set on geometrically precise mandalas. Peaked, jeweled, gleaming white (like the original alabaster coating of the Pyramid of Giza), rounded at the base, and housing great transmuted relic treasures, they serve similar trans-dimensional functions. These remain a mystery only hinted at from time to time (and traveling in time like Buddhist bells as Die Glockes).

Ac Tah: Messenger for the Ancient Maya
"The Mayan culture has always had contact with these beings from other dimensions, from other consciousness[es], and currently our archeological sites are preparing for a connection with them [o]n another frequency."

WP: Can you share a bit on the history of the lineage of the Maya...?

AT: Yes. [They were] kings, and the knowledge is passed on from generation to generation through the lineage. Of course when we speak of kings, we see it not from a position power but from a position  of [service], to help transform all of consciousness and evolve, in all areas of life.

WP: At your workshop give at The Gateway, you spoke of the 20 frequencies that are active all the time. How did you learn of these frequencies?

AT: That was give to me by my grandparents who would talk about the perception of the sun, and above all us Mayans we talk a lot about the movement of the sun, of energy, we speak of the pyramids so those frequencies are based on our calendar, and my grandfather taught me how to interpret the calendar and read those frequencies....  More

Buddhist Indonesia's massive Borobudur Java Buddhist temple compound? No, it's Mexico.
Mexico's Pyramid of the Moon? No, this is not Teotihuacan, which means "Where humans met the devas." It is the base of the Buddhist temple complex in Borobudur, Java, Indonesia, shot while circumambulating (parikrama) out of respect and to heal.

Time is ticking away (video)

GrindTV.com; Seth Auberon, CC Liu, Wisdom Quarterly (COUNTDOWN CLOCK -16)
Jamie Scott's "Fall" shows 15 spots in Central Park as they change seasons. "I chose 15 locations in the park and revisited them two days a week for six months.... just after sunrise."

Preparing to live starts by meditating on death. For such meditation inspires in us a sense of spiritual urgency.

Time is short if we think it's short. Or the moment (the now) extends to encompass anything, any event, any eventuality.

Sometimes it is wise to make it feel short. The Buddha spoke of an ancient teacher who taught that meditators should reflect on life as being like a piece of meat dropped on a hot skillet, or like a drop of dew on a blade of grass, like a line drawn on water, or some such -- but in those days so long ago, the Buddha emphasizes, the human lifespan was much longer. What to say of our time and our need to make the best use of our time?

"Hi, it's me, Death; are you busy?"
A killer with a drawn sword is standing just behind. Straighten the spine and meditate. Life is short, death is long, meditate. Before long this body will lie by the wayside like a useless log.

If such reflection leads to excessive worry and an unsettled feeling, then it is doing more harm than good. We want enough urgency to begin our cultivation, our development, our refinement or "evolution," but not so much that we are inundated by a sense of overwhelm, futility, or lack of hope.

We have time, BUT what time do we have? We have the same time we always had, just now. We have now. We can begin now, and nothing else matters. If we delay, we throw the only time we have away.

A cosmopolitan man lost deep in the boondocks asked a local simpleton, "Hey, friend, how do I get into town?" "You can do it," the simpleton replied, "I just wouldn't start from here."

We may not feel our starting point is any place to set out from, but it's all we have. We have to start right where we are. Where else would we start? Wherever we are, the real question is, When will we start? Even then it will be now, so why would we delay and make it harder?

World is ending: Countdown to Extinction

Xochitl, Ashley Wells; sutra translation by Yogi Seven, CC Liu, Wisdom Quarterly
What is meditation? It is stopping (jhana) then practicing for insight (vipassana) (M7)

Mayan meditating by calendar (Discovery)
The world is ending. This Mayan cycle wraps up in three weeks. And we aren't enlightened yet.

What to do, what to do?

What would a supremely wise person do? What can be done but to buckle down and commit?

WISDOM QUARTERLY: "Buddha, how long does it take to become enlightened to at least the first degree, to awaken knowledge-and-vision of the liberating Dharma?"

THE BUDDHA: As I state at the end of the "Fourfold Setting Up of Mindfulness Sutra" (DN 22), meditators, whoever is steadfast PRACTICING these four methods of mindfulness in this manner for seven years, one of two results is certainly to be expected of such a person -- full enlightenment in this very life or, if there yet be any trace of clinging remaining, the state of non-returner.

Wait let alone seven years, meditators, whoever practices steadfast for six years... for five years... for four years... for three years... for two years... for one year...

Let alone one year, meditators, whoever practices these four methods for seven months, one of two results is certainly to be expected -- full enlightenment in this very life or, if there yet be any trace of clinging remaining, the state of non-returner.

What is stopping? It is purification of the mind/heart by absorption. What is insight? It is the systematic contemplation of four sets of things/personal phenomena (Bumbui/flickr.com)

Let alone seven months, meditators! Whoever practices these four methods for six months... for five months... for four months... for three months... for two months... for one month... for half-a-month...

Let alone half-a-month, meditators! Whoever practices these four methods steadfast for seven days, one of two results is certainly to be expected -- full enlightenment in this very life or, if there yet be any trace of clinging remaining, the state of non-returner.

It is because of these beneficial results that I declared at the beginning [of this sutra]: Meditators this is the one sure route to purification of (hearts/minds of) beings, for the overcoming of all sorrow and lamentation, for the complete undoing of (physical) pain and (mental) suffering, for attainment of the noble paths-and-fruits, and for the realization of nirvana. That way is the steadfast practice of these four methods of mindfulness."

Thus spoke the Enlightened One.

Witnessing my thoughts in meditation (video)

Seven and , Wisdom Quarterly
Dubious Buddha quote or a free translation of an actual sentiment (H. Kopp Delaney)

It's almost as if people have forgotten that the world ends this December. The Mayan Calendar's 2012, Gibson's real-life Apocalypto, a Rapture, some Revelation (unveiling), the Second Coming (of Quetzalcoatl)... Then what?

"There will be no coffins when you and I die, no consecrated ground, no sin to end all sins and angels with scorched wings -- and if the thought of it stings: Sorry, God, there's no coffins, just bloody jellies," Nick Blinko insists.

"You're trippin," they'll say. The breath goes in; the breath goes out. The baby gets in, water's dirty, pull the plug, Bye-bye, baby. Where was I? Breath goes in; breath goes out.... Why was I born, and where will I go next? Uptown? Downtown? Another town?

"No coffins, just bloody jellies. Glance at the nice town. See the war plan it owns. There'll be mass graves. So I want my death grant, 30 pounds, in advance. Buy now. Don't leave to chance. At least it's the final kill. No coffins, just bloody jellies."

Neither Buddhist, Hindu, nor Jain sacred texts say the world ends on any magical date like 12-21-12. Nor does shaman lore from anywhere around the world. Maybe only the West ends? The world is ALWAYS ending. Why are we holding our breath for a big kerrang?

Oh. Breathe in/breathe out, breathe in/breathe out... Who knows more, the Sayadaw or the Lama? Neither of them say, GAME OVER; no need to buy X-mas gifts this year. "No coffins, just bloody jellies. This their creation, to purify the planet, a new beginning, no it's not destruction!" Ah, Blinky's smart and prescient.

Sitting on top of the world, the Himalaya. All is still, all is quiet. We can concentrate.

Coast to Coast's George Noory SINGS (live)

Ashley Wells, Pat Macpherson, Seth Auberon, Wisdom Quarterly

"Can't Help Falling in Love" (Elvis Presley) by G Man Noory, Oct. 6, 2012, Los Angeles Ballroom, Conscious Life Expo, LAX Hilton. Improved audio below (A. Wells/Wisdom Quarterly).

While Coast to Coast listeners enjoyed John B. Wells on the air, regular host George Noory was belting out the standards in Los Angeles to a room full of astonished listeners.

The Conscious Life Expo is a biannual event at the LAX Hilton. It features psychics, scientists, odd balls, luminaries, and more than a few fakers. The End of the World Party gathered them all in one ballroom, Los Angeles A/B following the $100 "Goodbye to 2012" banquet, which featured the possibly tipsy (or jet lagged) crooner Noory, Ancient Aliens' Giorgio Tsoukalos, NASA's Richard Hoagland, Mayan expert John Jenkins, alien implant ufologist Dr. Roger Lear, and other guests.

 George Noory (Wisdom Quarterly)
Noory first love was not radio hosting. I was singing, but his father was never going to stand for that. You should be a dentist, a doctor, maybe an accountant. But years of listening to Elvis, Bobby Darin, Niel Sedaka, Frank Sinatra, and Sid Vicious seems to have left an indelible mark.

Producer Gina Salvatti, UFO summoner Robert Bingham, alien contactee Robert Perala, and LA's unique brand of cereal (Fruit Flavored Flakes 'n Nuts) were all in attendance for this breakthrough performance. While everyone bikes outside, staring into space or at the chemtrails, the illumination continues Sunday within and on the air.

"Under the Sea" (Bobby Darin) as performed by G Man Noory

Anyone who thinks radio host George Noory was joking is obviously not familiar with the Sex Pistols' classic punk rendition of "My Way" (Frank Sinatra) or Justin Bieber barfing.

Ke$ha and Britney on The End of the World

Wisdom Quarterly (April 2011)
Ke$ha wrote the lyrics, Britney Spears sings them. Their advice for the end of the world? "Just dance." Translation: Don't pay attention. Add, "Make a lot of good karma," and we agree.

What if the world ends? What if it doesn't? The "world" as we know it is a series of rapidly forming and disintegrating moments. Because we do not pay close enough attention, we do not normally notice the incessant rise and fall of physical and mental phenomena. But together they form the "world." So long as there is life, there is rising and falling. This is not only true on the subatomic level, it is true on the level of history and our lives. It cannot be otherwise in the world of composite things. All things are things, composed of other things. There is only one exception -- nirvana. Liberation from all suffering is no plane (loka), condition (ayatana), heaven (sagga), or immaterial sphere (arupa loka), and yet it is not "nothingness" (akincanyayatanaupaga). What then is there to worry about? Only ignorance. The ultimate truth sets one free, whereas ignorance means bondage, incessant rebirth, and suffering. The only thing between one and the truth is a lack of absorbed-concentration (serenity) and wisdom (liberating-insight). Otherwise, change is the only constant.
