Retailer Safeway recalls certain foodstuffs

(Reuters) - U.S. grocery operator Safeway Inc said it expanded its recall on edibles containing grape tomatoes in several states, due to possible salmonella contamination.
The company recalled the cubes of meat called kabobs, which include grape tomatoes, from its Safeway, Vons, Pavilions and Pak N Save stores in several states including Arizona and California.
On May 2, the company had recalled cafe salads and deli salads made with grape tomatoes.
Safeway said no illness had been reported and the recall of kabobs was a precautionary measure.
The kabobs were supplied by Taylor Farms and sourced from grower Six L's.
Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and fatal infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.
Healthy persons infected with salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
The recalled kabobs were sold between April 26, 2011 and May 3, 2011.

Who is now on the World's Most Wanted list?

He wasn't the World's Most Wanted Man. Officially, at least, there's no such thing. But when Osama bin Laden died from a shot to the head and another to the chest sometime between midnight and 1.30am local time on Monday, the man who, in the popular western imagination, held arguably the best – and certainly the best-publicised – claim to be regarded as such left behind him something of a conundrum for those who compile such lists: who could replace him?
It's not such a straightforward question. Leaving aside such niceties as one man's evil terrorist mastermind being another man's blessed freedom fighter, attempting to place in order of importance crimes on the kind of scale that might warrant inclusion in a Top 10 of global iniquity is a task fraught with difficulties. How do you measure a Serbian ethnic cleanser against an American serial killer, dismemberer and necrophile; a Mexican drugs baron against a Rwandan genocide-merchant?
Most lists, sensibly, do not try. The first and perhaps the most famous of all, the FBI's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives – from which Bin Laden was summarily ejected on Monday, his photograph stamped with a blood-red banner and the single word "Deceased" –

Air search for missing cruise passenger to resume

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard planned to resume an aerial search Wednesday for a woman who went missing from a cruise ship somewhere between San Diego and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The 65-year-old woman, whose name was not released, did not show up for a customs check when the Celebrity Millennium docked in San Diego around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Coast Guard Petty Officer Henry Dunphy said.

Defeating the Enemy Greatest

By Maha Acarya Lian Sheng on August 18, 1996 Quoted by Zhiwei Zhu

Today I will talk about the true meaning of bhavana. Mandarin term "Xing Zhe" means the person who trained spiritual. Sun Go Kong, the main character in the story Journey to the West, also known as Sun Xing Zhe because he is a sadhaka surnamed Sun.

As sadhaka, do you know the true meaning of bhavana? Too bad many Buddhists behavior and his mind is not a good example. In my view, they will not achieve the success of what's what. Discussion on this day is to make sure that you all understand profound meaning of bhavana.

You all know that the 4 major types Tantric ritual was the refusal of the plague (Santika), an increase in welfare (paustika), harmony (wasikarana), and the submission of crime (abhicaruka). Of the 4 types, the most recent is the most important.

Do not get me wrong that by using science abhicaruka (submission), I told you to subjugate others so that whatever you do to be smooth.

"We are the biggest enemies to ourselves", said a philosophy. We must subdue ourselves. In short, bhavana main purpose is to subjugate our ego.
