Predict the future (Collection of Ajahn Brahm's lecture)

Many people who want to know the future. Some people are so not patiently waiting for what will happen, so they began to seek the services of shamans and soothsayers. I have a warning for you regarding the soothsayers: do not believe the forecasters are poor!
The monks who practice meditation is considered as a great astrologer, but usually they are not easy to work with.
One day, a race which has long been a disciple of Ajahn Chah asked the professor to predict its future. Ajahn Chah rejected: the good monk-tellers did not predict. But the student persisted. He reminds Ajahn Chah how many times he has been funded food, how much money has he donated to viharanya, and how he was chauffeuring Ajahn Chah by car and costs from him, ignoring his family and his own work

Ajahn Chah saw that he continued to insist on asking for the predictable, so he said for once he'll make an exception to the rule that monks should not predict. "Where's your hand. Here I saw the palm of your hand."
The students are very happy. Ajahn Chah had never read the palms of the hands of other students. It's special. After all, Ajahn Chah regarded as holy men who have great mental ability.Whatever was said by Ajahn Chah would happen, would happen.
Ajahn Chah trace the lines of the palm of the hand of the pupil with his finger. Every few moments, he was talking to myself, "Ooh, this is interesting" or "Yes, yes, yes" or "Incredible." The poor student was worried on hold.
When Ajahn Chah finished, she let go of the hands of the disciples and said to him, "Students, here are the state of your future."
"Yes, yes," said the student quickly.
"And I was never wrong," added Ajahn Chah.
"I know, I know. So, what about my future?" asked the student with curiosity peaked.
"Your future will be uncertain," says Ajahn Chah. And he's not wrong!
