People always wonder about fairness in life, and why each person is born is not the same. The questions often asked about why someone so healthy and others are born with many physical afflictions. Why would someone born in wealthy families, and others in poverty papa. Why would someone be able to enjoy a long and happy life, and the other short-life by acts of violence or accidents.
Buddhists do not believe that all inequality is caused by accident, or any desire that can not be explained from heaven beings who do not appear and the all-powerful. We believe that the law of kamma and Cause and Effect explains most of the differences in people's lives. If we can not remember anything from our past lives, it fair to suffer in this life for something wrong done in a previous life? Keep in mind that kamma is not a system of rewards or punishments. It is just the basic principle that any action that accompanied the will have consequences to bear fruit, when conditions are right. Take the example of someone who is drunk, then stumble and fall into the ditch. He broke his leg. That person may have no memory of falling and getting hurt, but he still feels the pain of her actions. As mentioned previously, kamma can also be viewed as planting the seeds. If you plant an apple seed, an apple tree will grow. If you plant a seedling oak, oak tree will grow. It is just the principle of Cause and Effect. Therefore, justice and the memory is not a factor in karma and this applies equally to all beings in life. If there is rebirth, why do not people remember their past lives? Memories of past lives lay smooth in our subconscious. We are usually unable to access these memories because our minds are not clear, or disciplined enough. For example, very few of us can recall what we did on the same day just a month ago! However, research has shown that some little children whose minds are still lucid, able to spontaneously remember their past lives. Western psychoanalysts are now using methods of hypnotic regression to help patients with mental problems, and some of these patients seem able to recall their past lives under such therapy. Monks with your mind focused and they are able to enter a deep state of meditation is also said to be able to recall their past lives. If we can not know anything about our next life, then why worry about it? The existence of a little selfish attitude to take. This is the same with parents who are not responsible who spend everything they have without leaving anything for their children. They can not know with certainty what will happen with their children. Parents who are responsible will do whatever they can to ensure the best for their offspring regardless of whether they still exist or not to see the results. However, it is said in Buddhism that some heavenly beings, and also some creatures that are born in the wild low in fact able to recall their past lives. Some of these creatures described the deeds that give the condition of their rebirth. That's the incentive to do the best we can in this life. In any case, as Buddhists, we must do the best we can in this life, regardless of whether we can or not to experience positive results in the next life. There is a saying that precious in Buddhism that generate ideas on: "If you want to know what kind of life you live in
your past life, look at your life today.
If you want to know what kind of life you will have in
your next life, look at your life today. "
Is there any scientific evidence of the rebirth? In fact there are many well researched and documented cases of people, including many children, who remember their past lives. While there are many examples of evidence in countless books from the East, studies in this area has also been done by many Western researchers. The investigation was carried out to groups of people and West Asia under scientific conditions and be accompanied by rigorous testing. Conclusions are found is the rebirth is not only possible but also well proven. For example, Carol Bowman has written books about children who are able to recall their past lives. These books are not books of religious or spiritual, but the cases are well-documented studies based on observation and empirical research done on hundreds of children. Prof. Ian Stevenson is an eminent psychiatrist and director of the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia in the USA. Prof. Stevenson's publications, which are intended primarily for academic and scientific communities, explaining more than 3,000 case studies of people who can remember their past lives. Other well known and reputable and authoritative in this case is Dr.Jim Tucker, Dr. Raymond Moody and Thomas Shroder. Henry Ford: "The task to be in vain if we can not use our experience
in the next life. " "Intelligence is the fruit of long experience in many lives.
For this I am sure, we're here for a purpose.
We will go forward. Thoughts and memories, is forever. "
