Two From Getting and Giving Happiness

Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato SammāsambuddhassaAnavassuta cittassa, ananvāhatacetaso,puñña pāpapahῑnassa, natthi jāgarato bhayaṁ
A person whose mind is not tainted by desire, free from hatred,to overcome the good and bad, it is no longer afraid.(Dhammapada III: 7)

In this life, of course, we want to live a happy peaceful and serene. But the fact we have really felt the real happiness? Of course, we are difficult to answer. Because in fact, what was done, not necessarily to obtain or produce the means of happiness.Sometimes we have to get a feel wanted or desired. In fact what is desired is not brought to the real happiness, but rather, what it does is bring misery, not happiness. It was confusing, what is desired but also bring someone to the suffering. It was initially happy, but happiness that finally ended the misery.
Indeed, when talking of happiness, everyone was very happy.Because, who wants to live often suffer from? It seems no one wants, if his suffering. The problem is, how to make the happiness that was completely in accordance with the truth itself? So what is happiness that we pursue it really was in accordance with the teachings of Buddha? There are two kinds of happiness:
1. Happiness is getting
Happiness is what always gets cool, longing for, and coveted by many, is to get the success, of progress, wealth, good looks, and so forth. It is generally forms the future is always anticipated by most people. Who would not want to get the above? It was all like, because it will bring progress and success in order to attain a happy life, without the drawbacks.Happiness is obtained, it is not guaranteed to free ourselves from suffering. Because happiness gets it, if we are not careful, the boy got what turned into fetters. When we split up and not getting what is desired, then we are suffering, frustration and grief. So, when someone is getting something that is fun, there are embedded suffering. It's a quick fun, but surely what is to come by, it is not permanent, and a tendency to melekatinya. When happiness is gone, comes the pain, disappointment and regret.
Basically a person who tends to follow the pleasure Indria, finally ending with the suffering and continue to come in turns. Nice lost, the suffering comes, the suffering is lost, happy future. Such is life.So in general what was found, all that motivated for pleasure only, not thinking that, what is sought for the needs, not just sheer joy.Obtain what is desired thing. However, after getting there we have the extra care that we do not digerogoti the pleasure itself, which will be turned into misery. So we must also consider the happiness of both, is happy to provide.
The Buddha said, "Magandiya, in the past, the fun indriawi painful to touch, heat, and sear, the future was fun-fun indriawi be painful to touch, heat, and sear, and now, at this moment, painful pleasure indriawi touch, heat, and sear. But those who are not yet free from desire to pleasure indriawi, which digerogoti indriawi desire to pleasure, the pleasure indriawi burning with fever, troubled middle ability, therefore, despite the painful pleasure indeed indriawi touch, they get an incorrect observation that the pleasure indriawiIt's fun. "(Majjhima Nikaya, Sutta I Magandiya 504-8)

2. Happiness gives
Happiness gives us is what exactly should be done, so we get the blessing of giving. In this case is not based on giving to get, but give that is based on the intention to remove sincerely for what he owned to other creatures in need. But most people consider giving to get. Or even have the feeling, by giving meaning to lose. It is difficult indeed to do, but we have to train to give the policy is not to obtain relief. If you get to the base, there is no avarice and greed, and if the loss of what they have, then that person will suffer.
So, providing the basis for this release that will surely add to make our lives happier, because in addition we get, we are also training to release what we have for other creatures in need. The Buddha said, "If the creatures know, like what I know, the fruits of the act giving and sharing, they will not eat prior to giving them will not leave stains dominate their parsimony and rooted in the mind. Even if the food is the last meal, last feed, they will not enjoy it without dividing it in case there are people who are invited to share '(Itivuttaka 26)
So, is not the only happiness that we got it made. If this is it, this means that happiness will bear the suffering in the future. Thus, happiness is very important release, so we feel well-balanced life, in addition we are also happy to receive. We can also provide training that is based on to release what we have given to other creatures who really need it. Therefore, our lives would be really happy because it got and be happy because it gives.
"Arising from the services that there is no feeling of hostility which is formed of a person in control; someone say left the evil, the end of the greed, hatred and ignorance, one achieve liberation, Nibbana the end." (Itivuttaka 8.5)
