Blazing Light Wish Fulfilling Practice


This was an old translation I did before... GM will give the teaching and empowerment tomorrow.

Blazing Light Wish Fulfilling Practice
(威光如意法
)

Purpose:  A practice blessing that will quickly fulfill wishes regarding employment, wealth, marriage and litigation.


**Before commencing the practice, first invoke the Root Guru to appear above your crown. Visualize the Root Guru radiating light on you and chant the Guru Heart Mantra 7 times. Pray to the Root Guru to empower you so that your practice will be auspicious.**

Wake Up Call: Clap twice, then cross hands and snap thumbs and middle fingers.

  1. Recite the Purification Mantras

  1. Recite the Invocation Mantra

  1. Great Homage using visualization

  1. Mandala Offering

  1. Fourfold Refuge

  1. Armor Protection

  1. Recite the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra

  1. Recite the Rebirth Mantra (7 times)

  1. Recite the Root Guru Heart Mantra (108 times)

  2. Visualization:

Place the object that is specified for your wish in the palm of your left hand. For employment, use your resume. For marriage, use a picture of the person whom you love.  For wealth, use money.  Visualize the object glowing with light and recite the Blazing Light Wish Fulfilling Mantra to bless it.  Your wish will then be fulfilled. 


Mudra: 
 
With your object in your left hand, form a fist with your left hand, release your middle finger, and press your thumb against your index finger.  Wrap the index, middle and ring fingers of your right hand around the middle finger of your left hand.

    Om zuo la zuo la ya, ben da ri, hum pum (108 times)



  1.  Entering Samadhi  

(Nine Cycle Breathing, Entering of the Deity into Oneself, Release of Oneself into the Cosmic Consciousness, Breath Counting)


  1.  Emerging from Samadhi


  1. Chant the principal heart mantras

  1. Recite the Buddha’s Name (3 times)


  1. Dedication:
      
May the pure light purify my karmic hindrances,
Enabling me to become a Self-mastery Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva,
Radiating great compassionate light to aid all beings,
So that everyone will take refuge in the Great Compassionate One.

May all who uphold the name of Amitabha Buddha
Be born together in the Pure Land of His Western Paradise
Repaying the Fourfold Generosity from above,
And aiding those who suffer in the Three Paths below.
Upon seeing the Buddha
May I be liberated from the cycle of birth and death,
And may I develop the qualities of Buddhahood
And thus free all who suffer.

I, ________ (your name), dedicate the merits of this practice to the Root Guru. May the Root Guru always be healthy, remain in Samsara, never enter Nirvana, and forever turn the Dharma Wheel. May everyone be healthy, free of hindrances, strong in cultivation, and may all circumstances become auspicious.

May all supplications be completely fulfilled.
May all hindrances be removed. Wun!

  1. Recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra (3 times)

  1. Great Homage using visualization

  1. Recite the Completion Mantra:

Om, bu lin. (3 times)

Om Mani Padme Hum.

Dismissal:  Clap twice, then cross hands and snap thumbs and middle fingers.

End of Practice; may all endeavors be auspicious.
Xiu-fa yuan-man, ru-yi ji-xiang


Caveat: It is recommended to use a gold or jade Ru Yi (Scepter) to conduct the empowerment for this practice. The Ru Yi must be purified by fire and blessed by the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Dharma Protectors.
